20 And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him, and they were all astonished.

21 And after[a] Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered to him, and he was beside the sea. 22 And one of the rulers of the synagogue came—Jairus by name—and when he[b] saw him, he fell down at his feet.
